6:30 alarm, brush my teeth, and start the car
And I know what I know, so I go where I go
Flick the keys, stare at the screen, click away all my dreams
And I know what I know, so I go where I go
I want to go home
And I know what I know, so I go where I go
It’s time to go home, yes I am coming home
Home
All in all, I’ve always had the same thoughts riling up my heart
And all in all, I haven’t changed a single thing to feel differently
GET THIS
My mind’s been in a million places but my body hasn’t moved an inch
And I feel like I’m missing out again
Ignoring my plans
Wondering how they went
Feeling bad about it
If I could just take a chance
I wouldn’t feel so bad
To see past myself
I wouldn’t feel so bad
6:30 alarm, brush my teeth, and start the car
And I know what I know, so I go where I go
It’s time to go home again, that’s so boring

I got to listen to some of these songs live during Origami Angel's tour in 2022, which was a really cool experience. I loved them enough to buy a CD!!! KZDEX

Just inspiring combination of emo-jazz in its purest form. Lyrically it goes over interesting ideas of multiculturalism, parental issues and generational trauma in some of the best ways I've heard in a while. All of the instrumental sections are just beautiful and both singers are outstanding. My favorite moments are probably the almost-yelling section halfway through "I'm From Here" and the horn sections on "Quirk". PeterA
